Dipoles

Annotate Dipoles

napari-tomoslice annotate \
--tomogram-directory tomograms/ \
--annotation-directory tomograms/annotations/ \
--mode dipoles
  • Load a tomogram using the tomogram browser on the right panel
  • Annotate dipoles:

    • Shift + click and drag to move the plane up/down
    • Press 'x', 'y', 'z', or 'o' to reorient the plane
    • Alt + click to position the center of the dipole
    • Press 'v' to define the direction of the dipole vector
    • Alt + click again to move/shift the dipole
    • Press 'n' to start a new dipole
    • To go back and change the position or direction vector of a previously added dipole:
      • Select the dipole using 'Select points' from the Napari layer control panel on the left
      • Alt + click to move/shift the position of the dipole
      • 'v' to change the direction of the dipole
    • To move the plane during/after adding dipoles:
      • Select the tomogram layer from the Napari layer list control panel on the left
      • Shift + click and drag to move the plane up/down
  • Save dipole annotations with the 'save annotation' button on the right panel
